Course Description

Newspaper articles hot off the press are suggested at every lesson for different language levels and from different sources. The articles are read out loud with a focus on British or American pronunciation. Vocabulary is checked before, during and after the reading. Special aspects of the text (idioms, cultural items) are pinpointed throughout the course.

 

Learning Objectives

Participants read current news headlines and discuss the content. Participants will be able to sift through the plethora of press, news articles and eventually differentiate between them.
